AI automation

AI that gives your team time back.

ServPatch uses AI where care admin actually takes time: writing up notes, adding up meals, finding information and summarising records. People review the results and make every care decision.

Traditional vs AI-assisted

The same jobs. Less time on each one.

Traditional care software digitises the paperwork. AI-assisted care software takes on the repetitive parts of it.

  • Writing up a care note

Before · Typed on a phone at the end of a visit, often shorter than it should be.

Spoken in a supported language, converted to English, reviewed by the carer, then saved. Live

  • Counting calories

Before · Portions added up by hand from a food chart.

Record what was eaten. ServPatch estimates calories and nutrients. Live

  • “What’s changed this week?”

Before · Open several charts, compare dates, rebuild the picture.

Ask Patch about recorded intake, weight or vitals, then check the entries. Live

  • Monthly incident summary

Before · Export reports, merge spreadsheets, count by hand.

Ask Patch for a summary of recorded incidents as a starting point. Live

  • Staff questions to the office

Before · Messages and calls about holiday balances and who’s off today.

Patch answers where the person’s account has access. Live

  • Spotting rota conflicts

Before · A coordinator scans the rota for double-bookings and gaps.

AI highlights conflicts for a coordinator to resolve. Roadmap

Human in the loop

AI suggests. People decide.

Every AI output in ServPatch is something a person checks: a converted note, an estimate, an answer or a summary.

  1. AI prepares

Converts speech, estimates nutrition, finds records or drafts a summary, within the person’s permissions.

  2. A person reviews

The carer edits the note; the manager checks the records behind a summary.

  3. People act

The reviewed note is saved, or the team decides what happens next, following your procedures.

What Patch and ServPatch AI never do

  • Diagnose conditions or give medical advice
  • Make care decisions or escalate on your behalf
  • Show information a person’s role can’t access
  • Save AI-converted notes without the carer’s review

Comparing AI suppliers

Five questions to ask every AI supplier.

“AI-powered” can mean very different things. Put the same questions to everyone, including us.

  1. 01

Where did that answer come from?

Ask how you check the original records, date range and any missing information.

  2. 02

What happens when it doesn’t know?

Try an incomplete record and look for a clear limitation rather than an invented answer.

  3. 03

Can it see more than the user should?

Repeat a staff-information question under a restricted role.

  4. 04

    What leaves our system?

Ask about AI processors, storage, retention, training use and deletion.

  5. 05

    What needs human approval?

Separate finding information from suggesting changes, writing records and taking action.

Common questions

Questions about AI in ServPatch.

How Patch and AI-assisted features handle care information.

Ask us your question
What information can Patch see?

Only the records and reports the signed-in person's role is authorised to see. If your role can't open a record in ServPatch, Patch can't use it in an answer for you.

Does Patch make care decisions?

No. Patch helps people find and understand recorded information. It does not diagnose conditions or replace professional advice, and care decisions stay with your team.

Can Patch be wrong?

Yes. AI answers and estimates can be wrong or incomplete. Check the underlying records, follow your service's escalation process and seek qualified advice about concerns.

Which languages can I ask in?

You can ask Patch questions naturally in supported languages and receive a clear answer. Ask us to confirm the languages your team needs.

Is Patch an extra cost?

No. Patch is included in every ServPatch plan.

Who handles AI processing?

Before using AI with care data, ask us which provider and service are involved, what information is sent, where it is processed, how long it is retained and whether it is used for model training. We'll share the applicable processing terms for your review.
