Medication at a glance

What it does
Records medicines administered during a visit or round and keeps each person's current medication and history together.
Who it helps
Carers giving or prompting medicines, and managers reviewing what was recorded.
The problem it solves
Paper charts and separate trackers make it harder to see what was given, when and by whom.
How it fits
Medication prompts appear as allocated visit tasks and administration records join the person's daily record.

Questions

Good to know.

Is ServPatch a full eMAR system?

Today ServPatch records medicines administered and keeps each person's medication history. A fuller eMAR, including MAR-chart views, is on our roadmap. If you need specific eMAR functions, such as stock control or pharmacy links, ask us before you decide.

Can managers review medication records?

Yes. Authorised staff can review the recorded medication history for each person, in line with their role's access.
